well well well!!
"We've just reported recently that Sony's PS3 seems to be throttling upwards in a good streak, and it looks like the trend is becoming more and more consistent.
According to Bloomberg, the PS3 is about to catch up with the Nintendo Wii's sales numbers: Wii is now outselling the PS3 at only three-to-one. That's a great jump from the previous six-to-one ratio a few months ago.
Japanese research firm Enterbrain has reported 245,653 Wii units sold compared to Sony PS3's sales number of 81,541 in a span of four weeks ending in August 26.
The streak also shows in the two gaming mogul's stocks in Japan's stock exchange: Nintendo's shares fell 1.7 percent to JP¥ 52,000, while Sony gained 0.4 percent to JP¥ 5,600.
Will Sony continue to fly high? Do check this space often to find out!"

if sony could withstand the might of the new super mario game on wii, then I think the PS3 will be the king of consoles in 2008 if they keep going at this rate. the war is getting hotter and hotter :O
At first, the Wii was supposed to be the 2nd revolution in video gaming after the 3D graphics. Since it's possible to create very realistic game play using the remote. But sadly, it wasn't as what people expected (or at least I was) thus they lost their tramp card over Sony (they should learn from Kyouseke). Being even, only the games will really determine which console would be better since there is still no LEGENDARY game (or one worth my attention) on both consoles. Hence, most cautious gamers won't be making their moves now. But if JP H-games are released on either of the 2 consoles, hell, I'll buy both consoles if I have too!
